Plateau state lawmaker dies

The lawmaker representing Quanpan north constituency of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Jeffry Dashe, is dead.


Mr. Dashe, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, died in the early hours of Tuesday after a protracted illness.

According to family sources, Mr. Dashe had been sick for a while and was receiving treatment.

Mr. Dashe’s death has created a vacant seat in the Plateau state House of Assembly which has 24 seats.
